2. Taisyu Yakiniku
Taisyu Yakiniku located at Taman Desa is by far one of the most popular and affordable Japanese BBQ (pork slices as low as RM11) in Klang Valley. This open air restaurant has a good selection of meat and Japanese alcohol. With BBQ you can always expect it to be hot and steamy, so be sure to dress appropriately when you come here.
Do note that it’s gets very packed so come early!

This BBQ spot is said to be soo good it even attracts Japanese customers! We love this restaurant because they have an amazing concoction of dipping sauces which make the grilled meat taste all the more yummy. Prices are still relatively affordable but slightly higher than RM10 per set of meat.

For a comfortable and cozy dining experience, we suggest Tokyo Bikin Yakiniku. Not only is this restaurant well decorated, it also has plenty of worth-it deals for foodies and plenty of beer promotions! Here you can get A5 Japanese Wagyu Beef (110g) for only RM75. Pretty good, right?

5. Kitsuzo Izakaya
Now if you crave the most authentic & original Japanese experience, you must visit Kitsuzo Izakaya at Hartamas. They’ve got tatami floor seating, so you know they’re legit!
Here their yakiniku is served as skewer sets (and not where you grill your own meat so you won’t have to deal with the heat and smoke!) which make them easier to share and divide amongst a big group too. One premium pork belly skewer is RM11.80.

For a Yakiniku restaurant with great Japanese inspired interior decorations, we suggest Miyako Land for authentic Okinawa vibes! This place is perfect to impress a date or for a celebratory feast.
